Intro to Blacksmithing
3 hour Class for the Beginner: This class is a stepping stone to the knife workshop.
Here you will learn some basic techniques such as Drawing out a tapper, Twisting, Punching holes, scrolling and basically handling the red hot steal in and out of the forge. These skills will allow you to make a variety of ornamental and useful items: Plant Hangers, Hooks, BBQ Tools, Fire Pokers, Bottle Openers and more.

Knife Workshop
This is a weekend Class for an intermediate skill level;
Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm & 4:00pm-8:00pm
Sunday 10:00am-2:00pm

In this class you will Forge a through tang blade and install and finish a slab handle. I will work along with you to ensure your project proceeds and you leave with a completed knife.
Damascus Steel
This is also a weekend class for intermediate skill level.
Saturday: 10:00am-2:00pm & 4:00pm-7:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am-2:00pm
In this class you will learn the principals and techniques to make a 144 layer Damascus billet. That you can then take to the Knife Workshop and make your own blade.
You will be making a layered Damascus. When making layered Damascus there are several pattern options. You can leave it as a random layered pattern or you can make a Raindrop, Ladder or Twist pattern.
